How can I participate to the study?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To participate, click on the link<\/strong> to get to an anonymous online survey. You will be guided through different blocks of questions. If you feel uncomfortable answering a question or do not know the answer, you can always skip a question. The question formats differ and include single- and multiple-choice questions, decision matrices, time beams, and a few open-ended questions. The approximate duration is around 20-30min<\/strong>. What is the study about?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We explore how personal life plans of next generation family members fit to taking over the family business. Your insights are invaluable in understanding the challenges and opportunities that shape your intention to join the family business. This study aims to uncover strategies that help next generation family members to find a  good fit between their private life and the family business. The study is a steppingstone towards helping family businesses thrive for generations to come.

Why should I participate to the study?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deciding whether and when to join the family business is crucial for NextGen members. While much advice focuses on skills and experiences, personal life aspirations are often overlooked. Our study aims to highlight the importance of aligning these aspirations with family business roles. By participating, you\u2019ll gain early access to our findings. If you provide your email at the end of the survey, we\u2019ll send you a copy of the report. Rest assured, your email will be stored separately to ensure your responses remain anonymous.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
